[Edit: Inspired by a post, I’ve decided to add some personal information here.]

Hi.
I’m back in the first person. No more “Nathan is….” here, since, well, I’m Nathan!

I’ve been living in the Boston area since 1997, and have become a reluctant convert to Red Sox and Patriot nation. Growing up, I was a huge New York Mets fan, and I followed the Buffalo Bills through four heart-wrenching, soul-crushing Super Bowl losses.

Growing up in upstate New York, being a sports fan was something of a passing interest. But here in Boston, it is a way of life. If you’re here for more than 5 years or so, you become a Boston sports fan. It truly is the best sports city in the country in my humble opinion.

I’m also a little bit fanatic about the latest gadgets, my favorite being my portable XM satellite radio. If you have a conversation with me that lasts more than 10 minutes, expect to be inundated with information about XM. I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with it, but I just am.

My newest toy is my Olympus E-500 digital SLR camera. I’ve been into digital photography for years, and I’ve finally made the switch to the SLR. There’s really no turning back. I use the camera for both work and play, and my most frequent subject (this shouldn’t be a surprise) is my dog, Toby. Here are a few examples:

Oh, and I also hate hot air balloons. But that’s another story all together.
